Imagens de 2008

O ano de 2008 foi um ano de mudanças estruturais na sociedade americana, eu diria. Da economia à política, passando pela cultura, pela saúde, ciência e pelo esporte, algumas barreiras foram superadas e muitas surpresas, boas ou não, chegaram às páginas dos jornais.

Como alguns leitores desse blog têm solicitado que meus textos sejam acompanhados de mais imagens, achei apropriado começar 2009 com uma bateria delas, relembrando o ano que passou.

Então aqui vão algumas imagens que contam um pouco da história do ano de 2008 nesse país. Tentei trazer aquelas que refletem as narrativas e momentos mais importantes de cada mês, mas com certeza não são todas as histórias que tivemos. Além disso busquei imagens não tão convencionais de cada notícia e até mesmo algumas de ângulos bem excêntricos. E, apesar de concordar que uma imagem vale por mil palavras, há créditos explicando cada momento clicado. Divirtam-se!
